William Berger

William Berger, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Most recently, they served as the Executive Director of Global Quality at KVK Tech, Inc. and Penn Life Sciences. In these roles, they oversaw various quality control functions, including the release of raw materials and finished products, stability monitoring, and environmental monitoring. Prior to that, they worked at American Regent, Inc. as the Associate Director of QC Chemistry and Characterization, where they managed a team of QC professionals and was responsible for the site's quality budget. Before joining American Regent, Inc., Dr. Berger held various roles at Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, including Senior Manager of Quality Control Chemistry and Manager of QC Method Validation, Analytical R&D, and Technology Transfers. William also served as a Research Assistant at Stony Brook University and held positions at Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, a Daiichi Sankyo Company, as a Method Validation Chemist and QC Chemist. Dr. Berger's experience encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing quality operations, managing budgets, implementing regulatory standards, and conducting research.

William Berger, Ph.D. has an extensive education history. William completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Chemistry, specializing in Organic/Medicinal/Computational, at Stony Brook University from 2007 to 2013. Prior to this, they obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry, also specializing in Organic/Medicinal/Computational, from Stony Brook University from 2007 to 2012. In 2005, they earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry with a Biological Chemistry Option from Stony Brook University, where they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in European History. Before entering university, they attended Binghamton University from 1998 to 2001, focusing on Biology and Computer Science. Additionally, they were recognized as a Young Scholar at Stony Brook University in 1997. William completed their high school education at William Floyd High School, where they earned an HS Regents with Honors diploma from 1994 to 1998.
