You reach out to your team members across teams and locations. You help a team member when needed. You align with the Kwara strategy. You actively try to gather opinions from team members.

“Nguvu ni kusaidiana. - Strength is helping each other.” - Swahili proverb

You focus on being one team. You remain accommodative for everyone. You are respectful of differences. You actively eliminate implicit biases. You don’t discriminate.

“Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other’s eye for an instant?” – Henry David Thoreau

You communicate clearly even with people in different locations. You move information from within your mind to the shared environment. You explain what you mean. You manage expectations upfront.

“Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable. Be honest and transparent anyway” - Mother Teresa

You are happy to show up at work. You actually enjoy spending time together. You light up the workspaces with emojis and GIFs. You participate in team events when you can. You make people’s day lighter.

“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life” - John Lennon

The user is your main priority. You ensure all users have the best experience possible. You care about the human in the user. You always have the user in mind in your daily work. You are happy when the user succeeds.

“Yet, taught by time, my heart has learned to glow for other’s good, and melt at other’s woe.” – Homer

You always develop yourself and learn from mistakes. You would leave Kwara a better person than when you came in. You are curious about new ideas and practices. You try to understand the why. You have a generally curious outlook on life. You search for answers outside the box. You are willing to try new things.

“Beating the competition is relatively easy. Beating yourself is a never-ending commitment” - Nike
