David Bentzen

David Bentzen has extensive experience in the field of systems engineering and network management. David is currently working as the Director of Systems Engineering at Kwikbit, where they are responsible for managing systems and engineering processes. Prior to this role, David worked at Expeditors as a Network Engineer and Product Owner, where they played a key role in network engineering and product ownership. Before that, they worked at Providence as a Network Engineer.

David also has significant experience in software development management, having worked at F5 Networks as a Software Development Manager. In this role, they led a team of software developers and focused on developing an orchestration solution for F5 products to enable cloud architectures.

David's earlier roles include Manager of Network Operations at Sprint, where they managed a team of engineers and supported backhaul designs for various RAN technologies. David also worked at Clearwire, where they held multiple positions ranging from System Test and Integration Engineer to Director of Network Engineering. David played a crucial role in managing vendors, testing designs, implementing changes, and driving projects to completion.

Additionally, David has experience as a Manager at Allied Telesyn, where they mentored junior engineers, performed network design and implementation, and interfaced with customers to resolve technical issues. David also worked at World Wide Packets as a System Test Engineer and System Integration Engineer, and at Nortel Networks as a Global Support Integration Engineer.

David began their career at Itron as a Principal IT Engineer, where they gained experience in IT engineering. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in systems engineering, network management, software development, and IT engineering.

David Bentzen attended Control Data Institute in Inglewood, CA from 1976 to 1978. David obtained a degree in Computer Technology with a focus on Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology. In addition to their formal education, David also holds certifications in Agile project management, including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), obtained in July 2018, and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), obtained in July 2018, both from Scrum Alliance.
