Pete Buchner has extensive experience in marketing and sales, working in various roles for different companies.
Pete currently holds the position of Vice President of Marketing at Kwikbit, a start-up wireless internet service provider aiming to bridge the digital divide. Pete leads all marketing and sales activities for the company, focusing on deploying systems quickly and offering reliable, high-speed internet at affordable prices.
Prior to their current role, Pete served as the Chief Marketing Officer at CMO Services from 2007 to 2021. In this position, they engaged in strategic planning, business development, and integrated marketing communications for clients such as TechnoCarbon, QuinaPro CBD Products, The Emmys, Legacy Entertainment, and Golf Resorts International. Later, they became the Regional Marketing Director, focusing on customer acquisition and sports sponsorships in Cox's largest region.
Before Cox, Pete was the Vice President of Global Marketing at Mobile Mini Inc, a portable storage solutions leader, from 2010 to 2011. Pete played a key role in launching a new consumer moving and storage business unit, collaborating with an award-winning ad agency and developing marketing plans and website redesign.
Pete's earlier experience includes working as the Marketing Director at Microsoft from 2000 to 2006. During their tenure, they directed global brand, acquisition, CRM, and channel marketing activities for various products, including MSN and B2B Saas offering Office Live Meeting. Pete'srenegotiation of distribution agreements and effective GTM initiatives contributed to MSN division's first profitable fiscal year.
Pete Buchner holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
