Tim Blom

Tim Blom is an experienced hardware and RF engineer with a career spanning over two decades in the telecommunications and engineering fields. Currently, Tim serves as a Hardware Engineer at Altowav since May 2024 and at kwikbit since July 2017, focusing on high-speed backhaul solutions. Previously, Tim held the position of RF Hardware Design Engineer at MAX4G, where efforts were directed towards high-performance NLOS backhaul for small cell 4G deployments. Tim's extensive background includes roles such as Principal RF Engineer at NextGen RF Design, Inc., and Principal Hardware Engineer at Eagle Creek Technologies, along with significant management experience at Motorola. Tim began their career as an RF Engineer at ADC and has worked at several notable companies including EF Johnson and Medtronic. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University, completed in 1983.
