Frederik Olsen

Frederik Olsen has extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Frederik is currently employed at KX as a Data Scientist & kdb+/q Developer, having started in March 2021. Prior to that, they held the same position at KX from August 2022. In 2018, they completed internships at both Forward Thinking Inc and Joju Solar. Frederik also worked as a Bartender at The Bermondsey Pub Company from January 2018 to August 2018. From 2014 to 2017, they were employed as a Waiter/Kitchen Porter at Facilities Management Catering Limited. Additionally, they served as a Rugby Coach at the Rugby Football Union from September 2016 to May 2017. Frederik Olsen has further experience as a Waiter at Tapeo & Wine and Carluccio's in 2017 and 2014, respectively.

Frederik Olsen attended the University College London (UCL) from 2019 to 2020, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Geospatial Sciences with a concentration in Geographic Information Science and Computing. This program was offered by the UCL CEGE (Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering) department. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2019, Frederik attended The University of Manchester and completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geography, although the specific field of study is not mentioned. Frederik also participated in a semester-long exchange program at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla in 2017. In addition to their formal education, Frederik obtained several certifications, including Learning Bash Scripting from LinkedIn in December 2021, the KX Advanced Course and KX Fundamentals Course from KX in November 2021, and Level 2 Rugby Coaching from the Rugby Football Union in November 2016.
