Gideon Bakx is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and technical leadership. At FD Technologies, since April 2010, Gideon serves as a senior software engineer, acting as the technical lead and sole developer for a sophisticated desktop application tailored for a pipeline company, incorporating features such as advanced scheduling, graphing, remote server synchronization, and user management. Previously, a contract as a senior programmer analyst at Cancer Care Ontario involved the conversion of a multi-layered website from VB. Net to C#. Earlier experience as a web application developer at Tritac included extending an e-commerce platform to interface with the Google Adwords API and spearheading its redesign.
