Liam O'Mahony

Liam O'Mahony has a diverse work experience across various industries. Liam is currently a Senior Project Delivery Manager at KX since March 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Project Delivery Manager at the same company from May 2022 to February 2023.

Before joining KX, Liam held positions at First Derivative, where they worked as a Financial Analyst from February 2020 to May 2022, and as a Technology Trader from September 2018 to February 2020.

Liam also served as the Musical Director at Newcestown Comhaltas from September 2010 to February 2020. Liam gained experience as an Industry Manager at UCC Student Managed Fund from October 2017 to October 2018.

In addition, they held managerial positions at University College Cork, serving as the UCC Intermediate Hurling Manager from September 2017 to October 2018, and as the UCC Junior Hurling Manager from September 2015 to September 2017.

Liam has also worked as a Music Teacher at Douglas Comhaltas from September 2015 to September 2018.

Furthermore, they gained experience as a UK&I Advisory PI Finance Associate at EY from May 2018 to August 2018. Prior to this, they worked as an Assurance Intern at EY from March 2016 to August 2016.

Liam also has experience working as a Rides Operator at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier from May 2015 to August 2015.

Lastly, they served as the Student Relations Officer at UCC Commerce Society from September 2016 to October 2017, where they were responsible for student engagement and enhancing the student experience.

Liam O'Mahony's education history is as follows:

Liam O'Mahony started their education at Hamilton High School from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained their Leaving Certificate with a focus on Business. Liam then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Economics/Accounting at University College Cork from 2013 to 2017.

In 2017, Liam also attended Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann for a short period, where they obtained a Teastas i dTeagasc Ceolta Tíre (TTCT) in Irish Music. During the same year, they enrolled in University College Cork again and completed a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from 2017 to 2018.

In terms of additional certifications, Liam obtained Exam IV - Case Studies: Governance, Best Practice, and Ethics from PRMIA - Professional Risk Managers' International Association in October 2020. Prior to that, in September 2020, they acquired Exam II - Mathematical Foundations of Risk Management from the same institution.
