Lucy Cole

Lucy Cole has extensive experience in the legal field. Lucy currently holds the position of VP of KX Legal at KX, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at FD Technologies from September 2021 to October 2022. From 2014 to 2021, Lucy served as the General Counsel at Automated Intelligence, where they had overall responsibility for legal matters and data protection compliance. Before that, they worked as the Deputy General Counsel at FourWinds Capital Management (UK) Limited from 2009 to 2014. Lucy began their career as an Associate Legal Counsel at Permal Investment Management Services Ltd from 2007 to 2009. Lucy also has experience as an Associate Solicitor at Speechly Bircham LLP from 2005 to 2007 and Herbert Smith Freehills from 2004 to 2005, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and equity issues. At Herbert Smith Freehills, Lucy was the liaison associate for a major client, BSkyB, advising on commercial contractual arrangements. Throughout their career, Lucy has demonstrated expertise in a variety of legal areas and worked closely with individuals at all levels within organizations.

Lucy Cole attended the Thomas Tallis school from 1990 to 1996, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. Lucy then went on to the University of East Anglia from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a focus on Law with French Law and Language. In 1998 to 1999, they also attended the University of Strasbourg and received a Diploma in French Law. Lastly, in 2000 to 2001, they attended the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice, where they completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in the field of Law.
