Philip Walsh

Philip Walsh has had several roles in the field of kdb+ engineering and development. Philip started their career at First Derivatives in 2014 as a kdb+ Developer and worked there until 2016. Philip then joined Citi as a Senior kdb+ Developer from November 2016 to February 2020. After that, they worked at Neueda as a Senior kdb+ Engineer from February 2020 to October 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Senior kdb+ Engineer at KX since October 2021.

Philip Walsh obtained a Higher Diploma in the Science of Data Analytics from the National College of Ireland in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Galway in 2011. Philip has also obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020.
