Stephen Dempsey

Stephen Dempsey has a strong work experience in the technology industry. Stephen started their career at First Derivatives in 2009 as a kdb+ Engineer, where they gained experience in kdb+ and First Derivatives Delta products. Stephen also worked with C/C++, ODBC, LDAP/Active Directory servers and developed/implemented end-to-end trading systems. In 2011, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer at the same company. In 2015, they joined Kx - a division of First Derivatives plc as a Senior Product Manager, where they currently work.

Stephen Dempsey attended Trinity College Dublin from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, University College Dublin from 2008 to 2009 to pursue an MSC degree in Quantitative Finance.
