KY FIRST Robotics is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to expanding high quality robotics programs that prepare Kentucky’s students for the future of work. We support teams across the Commonwealth through the full FIRST progression, from elementary through high school, and partner with schools, industry, higher education, and community organizations to build sustainable pathways in engineering, technology, and advanced manufacturing.

Our work includes organizing regional and statewide competitions, offering training and resources for coaches and educators, and building connections between students and Kentucky’s growing workforce needs. We believe robotics is more than competition; it is a proven way to develop problem solving, teamwork, technical skills, and confidence that students carry into college and career.

KY FIRST Robotics is committed to ensuring all students across Kentucky have access to meaningful STEM opportunities, regardless of location or background. With support from partners across the state, we are building a robotics ecosystem that strengthens communities and helps prepare the next generation of Kentucky talent.
