At KYMIRA®, we are redefining the boundaries of wearable technology to optimise human performance, accelerate recovery, and enhance wellbeing. Founded in 2013 by injured athlete and biochemist Tim Brownstone, KYMIRA was born from a NASA-inspired vision: harnessing infrared light to stimulate cellular regeneration and healing.

Our patented infrared textiles are backed by 10 peer-reviewed clinical studies and used globally by elite athletes, defence units, medical professionals, and wellness seekers. Whether it's performance wear for Premier League clubs, recovery solutions for NHS Trusts, or sleepwear for everyday wellness, KYMIRA delivers innovation with impact.

We operate across:

Professional Sport – enhancing performance, recovery, and injury prevention.

Medical & Healthcare – supporting rehabilitation, diagnostics, and chronic condition management.

Defence & Tactical – enabling physiological resilience and recovery in extreme environments.

Wellness & Lifestyle – improving sleep, circulation, and everyday vitality.

We sell our infrared performance, recovery, sleep and leisurewear, via B2B partnerships, channel distribution, and direct-to-consumer through our global e-commerce platform.

KYMIRA reinvests its proceeds into next-generation, innovative human-centred research, working with trusted institutions including the UK & European Space Agencies, Innovate UK, and leading worldwide universities. With 6 patents, 3 trademarks, and multiple trade secrets to our name.

Current focuses include ongoing infrared research, and cutting-edge nano and microelectic production techniques for e-textiles, for diagnostic and monitoring across a range of health conditions including movement, rehabilitation, cardiac, and foetal.

Our mission: to be at the forefront of human-centred innovation, regenerating health and unlocking human potential.
