John Murphy

John Murphy is a board member at Kyriba and a previous company Soundwide. John has also worked at LegalZoom and Adobe. John was the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Adobe from March 2017 to November 2021. John was responsible for financial planning & analysis, financial and performance reporting, accounting, sales finance, strategy and pricing, SEC compliance, treasury, tax, investor relations, procurement and audit. Prior to that, they were at Qualcomm from September 2014 to March 2017 where they were the SVP, Finance - Chief Accounting Officer & Global Controller. John was responsible for leading business unit CFO's/Controllers in emerging technologies and leading core financial functions, including: financial planning and analysis, performance management, revenue recognition, global accounting, internal/external/SEC reporting and compliance, procure to pay, payroll, shared services, treasury/venture accounting.

John Murphy has completed an advanced management program in finance and general studies from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. John has also completed their MBA with honors in business from University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business. In addition, they have a BS in accounting from Fordham Gabelli School of Business. John is also certified by the State of California as a CPA.
