Jason Lauer

Jason Lauer has extensive experience in engineering and operations. Jason started their career in 2001 at Intuit, Inc., where they held various roles, including Senior Manager of Engineering Services, Manager of Software Engineering, Supervisor of Software Test Automation, and Lead Software QA Engineer. In 2008, they moved to EchoStar Corporation, where they held the roles of Senior Manager of Engineering and Manager of Engineering. In 2010, they joined Sogeti as Director of Quality Assurance and Bodega Norton as Technology Strategist. Finally, in 2017, they joined Kyrio as Vice President of Engineering & Operations. During their time at EchoStar Corporation, Jason led a global organization of 180 Engineers, Technical Managers, Program Managers, and Technicians in the development, integration, testing, release, and support of embedded consumer electronics and SaaS software systems. Jason also integrated globally distributed teams and processes in order to establish a 24x7 worldwide engineering organization and converted manual to automated testing and SDLC processes, reducing cycle times by >200%.

Jason Lauer has completed a variety of educational programs. Jason attended the Executive Leadership Program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, obtaining an SCTE. Jason then went on to receive an MBA from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, specializing in Information Technology. Jason also obtained a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in High Tech Management from California State University San Marcos, with a focus on IT, Finance, and Operations. Lastly, they attended San Diego State University, studying Computer Science and Information and Decision Systems.
