Emily Joye

Emily Joye has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Emily is currently the Head of Content at Kyron Learning since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Invictus Academy of Richmond from July 2018 to August 2022, holding various roles such as Restorative Practices Lead, STEM team lead, Director Of Curriculum And Instruction for STEM, and Founding 8th grade math teacher. Before that, they were a Youth Development Specialist & College Mentor at Oasis Center from September 2017 to June 2018. Emily also worked as a 7th Grade Math Teacher at Liberty Collegiate Academy from July 2015 to June 2017. Emily initially started their career as a Corps Member at Teach For America from June 2015 to May 2017. Lastly, they were the Head English Teacher at Sogang Language Program from February 2014 to March 2015.

Emily Joye attended Providence Day School from 1995 to 2008. Emily then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in International Business from the College of Charleston, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, they also briefly studied International Business and Spanish at Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona. Later, they pursued a Master of Education degree at Lipscomb University from 2015 to 2017.
