David Orr

David is an innovative senior sales and marketing executive with extensive experience at Fortune 50 companies (PepsiCo and J&J) as well as a major accounting firm (Price Waterhouse) and a start-up venture (Halo Labs). David has a proven ability to build and manage high-performance teams by translating vision into actionable strategies and tactics to exceed revenue and profit plans, leveraging excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive effective cross-functional and cross-division collaboration.

Prior to his role as Chief Revenue Office at Halo Labs where he led all Sales and Marketing responsibilities, David spent over 13 years with PepsiCo in various Sales and Marketing roles. His last role with PepsiCo was with the Frito-Lay division, where he led a nearly $1B small-format retail DSD business. Prior to joining the Frito team, David was the PCT GM for PepsiCo’s Global Amazon business, where he led the development and implementation of customer sales strategy for all PepsiCo divisions. Prior to that role he was the Senior Director for PepsiCo’s Taco Bell business, working on exciting initiatives including the Doritos Locos Taco, the launch of Lipton tea, and the retail LTO of Baja Blast. David also served as Senior Director, Regional Sales with the Pepsi Beverages Company, for the Los Angeles regional market, Director of Marketing for the Southern California Business Unit (PBC) and Director of Marketing at the Somers, NY Headquarters of PBC. Prior to joining Pepsi David spent 10 years with Johnson & Johnson, his last role as Product Director with the Consumer Products Companies (CPC).

A graduate of Drexel University and an MBA graduate of the Anderson School at UCLA, David has experience working in over 15 countries. David takes pride in community volunteer activities and has served on the boards of the Los Angeles Urban League, the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce, and the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens.
