Michael Meyer

Mr. Meyer is an Operating Partner at L Catterton. He has extensive C-level experience leading high growth companies with innovative brands and cutting edge products in the consumer product and technology sectors.

Most recently, Mr. Meyer served as the CFO and COO of Plum Organics, a leading premium organic baby food company. His prior roles include Chief Administrative Officer of Restoration Hardware, a leading purveyor of premium home furnishings, and President of Wellness Pet Foods, one of the first natural pet food brands in the U.S. All of these were former L Catterton portfolio companies. Prior to this, he worked with venture-backed technology companies, having served as the CFO of retail technology firm MarketMax, and co-founded an e-commerce dot-com that served Fortune 500 retail and financial service companies.

Mr. Meyer began his career in the New York banking industry with JPMorgan Chase as a commercial lender to consumer businesses. He received his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BS in Chemical Engineering from NYU’s Polytechnic School of Engineering. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of a L Catterton portfolio company, and on the Board of ReSurge International, a non-profit with a mission to provide reconstructive surgical care to children in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
