Philippe De Backer

Philippe De Backer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial services and consulting sectors. Currently serving as Managing Partner and Global Practice Leader in Financial Services at Arthur D. Little since January 2020, Philippe also holds the position of Chairman at BankCLEARLY, a disruptive digital bank, since January 2016. Prior roles include Chief Executive Officer at LF Capital from November 2017 to June 2020 and Global Head of Financial Services at Korn Ferry Hay Group until December 2019. Philippe was previously a Partner Advisor at Bain & Company, where a notable tenure lasted from 1993 to 2017, culminating in roles as Partner & Director and Senior Partner. Philippe's career began at Siemens (ADB Group), where leadership roles spanned from Assistant to General Manager to CEO, overseeing significant diversification initiatives. Philippe holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a B.A. in Economics & Literature from Colgate University.
