Stephen Roper

Stephen Roper is a Partner in L.E.K.’s London office and a member of the European Healthcare practice. He focuses on the life sciences sector, and has extensive experience in strategic and transaction-related assignments for pharma, biotech and diagnostics companies, as well as contract services providers and investors. Stephen advises clients on growth strategy, opportunity assessment, revenue forecasting and valuation, indication prioritization, commercial due diligence and acquisition screening.

Stephen has worked across the full range of therapeutic areas. He has a particular interest in gene and cell therapies, as well as the application of emerging big data and AI-powered tools in supporting biopharma R&D. Stephen holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Genetics, and MA in Natural Sciences, both from the University of Cambridge.
