Simon S.

Simon S. has been in the software engineering industry since 2009. Simon started their career as a Quality Assurance Intern at Elemental Technologies, followed by an IT Intern: Quality Assurance at Major League Baseball. In 2013, they were a Student Director at The University of Chicago. After that, they became a Regression Quality Engineering Intern at Palantir Technologies, where they later evolved from a bash know-its-all to a highly-opinionated Java developer. Simon also wrote the curriculum for a yearly software engineering best practices reading group. In 2020, they moved to LeapYear Technologies as a Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Opto Investments.

Simon S. attended the University of Chicago from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics.
