Fred O'Farrell

Fred O'Farrell, CISSP, has extensive experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, and security, currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at L.L.Bean since September 1991. O'Farrell has held various leadership roles, including Firewall, Load Balancer, and Vulnerability Team Lead, as well as previous responsibilities as the Enterprise Command Center Team Lead and Firewall/Network Lead. With a solid background in incident response and security policy development, O'Farrell has led significant projects, such as the Consolidated Logging Platform Replacement Project. Additionally, O'Farrell's earlier experience includes technical support consultancy and military service as a Combat Signalman in the US Army. O'Farrell holds multiple cybersecurity certifications and has completed advanced training in firewall troubleshooting and network management.
