SVP, Sales & Strategic Growth at L2 Defense

Mr. Michael Brown is an experienced executive with over 20 years of business management experience and over 15 years of technical and sales expertise in the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High Yield Explosives (CBRNE) field. Mr. Brown currently serves at L2 Defence’s Senior Vice President for Sales and Strategic growth. In this role, Mr. Brown is responsible for prioritizing, managing and supporting all corporate-wide business development activities. He authored and documented a 24-month Corporate strategic growth plan; created, documented, and continuously measure performance against corporate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and goals. He is also supports the entire L2 Defense team through key customer, industry, and partner engagements.

Prior to joining L2 Defense, Mr. Brown served as the Vice President, CBRN Market for a defense contractor where he provided subject matter expertise to customers regarding CBRNE equipment capabilities, selection, usage and kitted solutions. Mr. Brown oversaw key program manager functions, procurement support, logistics support, contract support/management and training delivery to numerous US Military customers whom supported the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Response Enterprise. He was also a key member responsible in formulating and executing long term CBRN corporate strategy and decisions – directly supporting the 5-year corporate strategic plan.

Mr. Brown served 4 years on Active Duty as a CBRN Response Solider in the United States Army. During his military service he managed, coordinated, and developed training programs for a highly specialized Chemical Company of over 50 specialized military personnel, with a capability to rapidly deploy worldwide. He deployed under 20th CBRNE Command and US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). Mr. Brown was the recipient of the Bronze Star for actions during his deployement.

Mr. Brown holds a B.A. in Business Administration – Management from California State University, Northridge.
