Morris Thomas is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in public affairs, sports management, and community engagement. Currently serving as Manager of Public Affairs at SCGA since February 2024, Morris has previously held roles including Player Attendant at the LA Clippers and Assistant Manager DEI, Culture, and Community at the United States Golf Association. Experience extends to the California Department of Health Care Services as an Associate Government Program Analyst and staff analyst, as well as operations roles with the Stockton Kings and a position as Assistant Director of Operations for Sacramento State Men’s Basketball. Additional experience includes serving as Constituent Services Manager for a Sacramento Councilmember and multiple technical roles at Apple.
