David Levitus

David Levitus is the Founder and Executive Director of LA Forward and LA Forward Institute, roles they have held since establishing these organizations. Since 2016, David has built a thriving community of staff, consultants, and volunteers focused on impactful social change. David previously served as a Campaign Leader for LA Voice PICO and as the Interim Southern California Regional Director for Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice. They also work as a consultant in strategy, development, and research. David is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in History and Economics at New York University and a Ph.D. in U.S. History, Urban Studies, and American Politics at the University of Southern California, alongside a Certificate in Globalization and Economic Development from the School for International Training.
