La Reserve was acquired in 1936 by Mademoiselle Henriette Reboul as her private residence. She reputedly had numerous friends and mistresses from famous celebrities to very influential people in her era, who all took abode in this magnificent residence. 
Under the magic wand of French Architects Laure Juhen and Louis Mariotti, Henriette Reboul's residence took on a new lease of life and became a genuine touch gem, alluring beauty, and sensuality. Over the years, Laure and Louis found inspiration in countless travels, refining each drawing, finding unique pieces toiled with passion and unbridled talent. The finished work is a beautiful tribute to its original owner. The combination of French architects' roots and Bali artisans’craftsmanship has transformed Henriette Reboul’s residence into a luxurious, discreet and exclusive resort in the heart of Bali.

LA RESERVE 1785 encompasses 3,500 square meter of land, with 5 separate pavilions nesting 13 suites at the highest standards of luxury, a grand reception area, Secret Spa and a dining venue "Le Cafe Rouge" overlooking the main swimming pool.

 The Purity Garden, a traditional Balinese temple garden and the Jardin Des Moines, a French Monks Backyard, encompasses the property. Breathtaking French crystal chandeliers will light up your evening. The art of blending French and Balinese design is superbly achieved by architect Laure Juhen  and renowned landscape architect, John Pettigrew.
