Sam Morrissey

Sam Morrissey is an experienced transportation professional currently serving as Vice President of Transportation at LA28, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Sam was the Executive Director at Urban Movement Labs from March 2021 to July 2022, focusing on technology solutions for urban mobility challenges in Los Angeles. With previous leadership roles including Vice President of California and Nevada Planning at WSP USA, Sam oversaw significant financial performance and team development across multiple offices. Additional experience includes lecturing at UCLA, managing traffic and parking for the City of Santa Monica, and working in various engineering capacities with firms such as Iteris, CDM Smith, and URS Corporation. Sam holds an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
