Rex Smith

Rex Smith is a Product Development Engineer at LAB Motion Systems, responsible for developing high precision linear and rotary products for OEMs. Prior to this, Rex worked as a Lead Engineer at TATA Power in the Corporate Digitalization Group, focusing on various digitalization projects. Rex also has experience as a Lead Engineer in operations and maintenance at TATA Power, handling large-scale generating stations and switchyards. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, Rex has interned at Steel Authority of India Limited and Tata Steel, gaining hands-on experience in manufacturing systems and engineering design. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at KU Leuven, Rex has a solid educational foundation in engineering.
