Marta Villar

Marta Villar has a diverse work experience spanning various finance roles and industries. Marta currently serves as the Group Head of Finance at LAB Group since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Digital Detox as the Head of Finance from April 2022 to August 2022, Finance Controller from April 2020 to March 2022, and Finance Manager from March 2019 to April 2020.

Before joining Digital Detox, Marta held the position of Finance Director at Vala Health from November 2019 to April 2021. Marta also worked as a Finance Manager at TritonExec from September 2017 to March 2019, where they provided executive search and talent advisory services for the Professional and Technology Services industry.

In addition, Marta worked as a Finance Manager at Quiqup from September 2015 to July 2017. Marta started their career as a Junior Consultant at Mercedes Lema Consulting from November 2012 to August 2015, and as an Accounting Assistant at the same company from January 2006 to June 2012. Marta Villar's education history includes several degrees and certifications. In 2021-2022, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IMF Smart Education. Prior to that, in 2012-2013, they obtained a Master's degree in Accounting & Tax Law from the Professional Association of Economists of A Coruña. From 2011 to 2012, Marta completed another Master's degree in Banking and Financial Markets from Escuela de Finanzas. Marta'sundergraduate education was at Universidade da Coruña, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from 2007 to 2012.

In addition to their degrees, Marta Villar has obtained various certifications. In October 2021, they became a community member of The Institute of Leadership & Management. In August 2021, they earned a Certificate in Business Valuations, a Certificate in Data Analytics, and a Certificate in International Financial Reporting (IFR) from ACCA. Marta also holds the title of an Accredited Accounting & Business Management Expert from the Spanish Accounting and Business Administration Association (AECA), which they obtained in November 2020.
