Lee Piper has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Their most recent role is as the Studio Art Director at Lab42 Games since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Art Director at Sumo Digital Ltd starting from October 2016. Before that, they gained experience at Rare Ltd as a Principle Environment Artist from December 2012 to October 2016, and also as a Lead Environment Artist from September 2014 to January 2016. Earlier in their career, Lee worked at Codemasters as a Group Lead Artist from August 2012 to December 2012, and as a Senior Artist from May 2008 to August 2012. Lee also worked at Sega Racing Studio as a Concept and Environment Artist from May 2007 to May 2008. Lee started their career at Climax as a Senior Artist from April 2000 to October 2002, and at Promethean Designs AKA Eastpoint Software as a Concept and 3D Artist from June 1998 to December 1998. Prior to entering the gaming industry, they worked at Hartnell Creative as a 3D Artist from February 2004 to February 2006, where they created exhibition content and handled various graphic design and editing tasks.

Lee Piper attended Lowestoft College from 1993 to 1994, where they pursued a BTEC Foundation Studies degree in art and design. Following this, they enrolled at Southampton Institute from 1995 to 1997 and completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in graphic design and illustration.
