Labaid Hospitals collectively refers to our twin hospitals; Labaid Cardiac Hospital (LCH) and Labaid Specialized Hospital (LSH). Established in 2004, LCH has become a center of excellence for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. LSH, established in 2006, is a multi-specialty hospital with leadership position in Orthopedics, Hepatology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Urology, Gynae and Neurology among others. Labaid Diagnostics, operating under the official name Labaid Limited, is the pioneer company of the group. From the humble beginning in 1989 with a single diagnostic lab, it has now expanded to a nationwide network of 30 labs.

Labaid is a trusted name in the health services of Bangladesh. One of the largest brands, Labaid is home to many ‘firsts’ in Bangladesh healthcare sector. Starting with bringing quality diagnostic services to the reaches of people around the country to pioneering heart surgeries, one of the first successful organ transplants, and regular successful implants, Labaid’s unique journey brought relief, economic benefit and hope to the masses. Under the visionary leadership of Dr. A M Shamim, the founding Managing Director, Labaid has already expanded its foot print beyond healthcare to education, pharmaceuticals, real estate and others.
