Jay Babla

Jay Babla has a diverse work experience spanning across different roles and industries. Jay most recently worked as a Cloud Engineer at LabArchives, LLC starting in March 2020. Before that, they held the position of IT Systems Analyst at Appraisal Fee Services from August 2018 to November 2019, where they played a key role in implementing technical projects, ensuring PCI compliance, and managing application and database server infrastructure.

From September 2016 to June 2018, Jay worked as an IT Analyst at TaylorMade Golf Company, contributing to the enhancement of the e-commerce business division by supporting and maintaining company systems and integrations. In 2016, they briefly served as the IT Manager at Credit Union Leasing of America (CULA), where they led IT operations and supported the company's mission-critical application.

Earlier in their career, Jay worked at ProQuest from March 2014 to July 2015, initially as an Agile Project Manager, responsible for eliminating project impediments and coordinating product cycles. Later, they took on the role of Application Administrator, focusing on performance optimization, migration, and cost-saving initiatives. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Implementation Specialist at ImageWare Systems, Inc. from April 2004 to September 2005, where they planned and implemented company solutions for clients and administered Microsoft SQL Server software.

Jay's work experience also includes a role as an Information Systems Analyst at Rural Metro Corporation from March 2000 to February 2004. In this position, they improved team efficiency by developing a database for technical issue management and collaborated with vendors to address software and hardware problems.

Jay Babla completed a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Northern Arizona University's The W.A. Franke College of Business from 1995 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Masters in Business Administration from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business between 2008 and 2010. In 2012, Jay Babla obtained certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance®. In 2017, they acquired an AWS Solution Architect certification from Amazon Web Services after completing a course on cloud technologies. Finally, in 2018, Jay completed a course on AWS entitled "DevOps Engineering on AWS" with Amazon.
