David Mayfield

David Mayfield, MS, DABT, BCES, is a highly experienced regulatory toxicologist currently serving as an Expert Consultant for Crop Protection and Chemicals at Labcorp since April 2021. In this role, David collaborates with clients to identify suitable toxicological tests, oversees study protocols, and ensures compliance with good laboratory practices and regulatory standards. Prior to Labcorp, David held positions as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Toxicologist at Gradient, where responsibilities included public health and environmental assessments, and as a Toxicologist at Parametrix, conducting risk evaluations for diverse organizations. David's career began at Intertox, Inc. as a Scientist performing toxicity evaluations. David holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Health (Toxicology) from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (Systematics and Ecology) from The University of Kansas.
