Karin Rasmussen

Karin Rasmussen has extensive experience in toxicology and nonclinical safety assessment, currently serving as the IACUC Chair and Associate Director at Labcorp since July 2006. In this role, Karin oversees management and technical staff, ensuring compliance with animal health and welfare regulations during toxicology studies. Previously, Karin held positions as Manager, Supervisor, and Senior Research Assistant, focusing on infusion and ocular technologies, as well as coordinating technical procedures in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Earlier in the career, Karin worked as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, conducting behavioral research with animals. Karin holds a Master of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
