Lisa David is a biologist and educator with a focus on plant molecular biology and mass spectrometry. Originally from Minnesota and with experience living in Colombia, they have worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida from 2016 to 2021, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at North Carolina State University from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they serve as a Certifying Scientist at Labcorp since 2022. Lisa holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Florida, a master’s degree in Botany from North Carolina State University, and a bachelor's degree in Biology from Mills College. They are passionate about mentoring, teaching, and promoting diversity in the sciences.
