Liz Starks

Liz Starks is a Bioinformatics Staff Engineer at Labcorp, where they focus on diagnostics programs in cancer and rare disease. They previously served as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Invitae, leading data pipeline and algorithm development, and as an Assistant Bioinformatics Coordinator at BC Cancer. Liz holds a Bachelor of Science in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavioral Biology from Beloit College and a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Regina. Their past roles also include positions as a Computational Biologist at the BC Cancer Agency Genome Sciences Centre and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Regina.
