Rachel Ramirez

Rachel Ramirez possesses extensive experience in quality assurance and molecular diagnostics, having served as a Quality Assurance Representative at Quest Diagnostics from November 2020 to February 2023. Ramirez contributed to supporting the Molecular Oncology and Molecular Infectious Disease Departments by managing quality control documentation and departmental standard operating procedures. Prior experience includes roles as a Molecular Assay Development Specialist at Children's Health, where genetic testing protocols were developed and improved, and various positions at UT Southwestern Medical Center, including Research Assistant II and Molecular Diagnostic Technologist, where significant contributions were made to research and quality assurance initiatives. Additional experience includes educational roles at Texas Memorial Museum and North Lake College. Rachel Ramirez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology from The University of Texas at Austin. Currently, Rachel Ramirez holds the position of Senior Quality Engineer at Labcorp, beginning in January 2025.
