Richard Ormesher

Richard Ormesher is an experienced cytologist currently working at Labcorp since July 2023. Prior to this role, Richard was a Cytology Education & Technical Specialist at Northwest Pathology from April 2016 to September 2023, focusing on rapid on-site evaluations and intra-operative biopsy assessments. Richard held the position of Cytology Supervisor at the University of Washington for nearly a year after being recruited by Northwest Pathology. Richard previously served as Regional Cytology Manager at LabCorp and was a Cytology Supervisor at Medical Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc., which was acquired by LabCorp. Initial career experience includes roles as a Cytotechnologist at St. Mary's Hospital & Medical Center and the BC Cancer Agency. Richard holds a degree in Cytotechnology from the BC Cancer Agency and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from The University of British Columbia.
