Robert Unsworth is an experienced senior analytical chemist with a strong background in GLP regulatory environmental fate metabolism studies, particularly involving 14C radioisotope labelled pesticide and pharmaceutical compounds in soil, water, and plants. Currently serving as a Scientific Manager at Labcorp Drug Development since June 2021, Unsworth has previously held similar managerial positions at Covance and Envigo. Unsworth commenced a career in the industry as a Study Scientist at Rhone-Poulenc before progressing to the role of Study Director at Aventis CropScience, where responsibilities included overseeing GLP studies and managing team effectiveness. Unsworth holds a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry and Computer Science from Anglia Ruskin University.
