Stuart Martin

Stuart Martin is an experienced leader in quality assurance and drug development within the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director and Global Head of GMP QA at Labcorp Drug Development since August 2018. With a strong background in GMP compliance and oversight, Stuart has previously held positions including Associate Director for GMP QA in the UK and various leadership roles at Covance, managing significant teams in bioassay and ELISA QC departments. Stuart's career began with a focus on cell culture development at Lonza, progressing through several roles from Senior Scientist to Senior Group Leader, and includes a foundational experience as a placement student at NIBSC. Stuart holds a Ph.D. in Life Sciences from the University of Warwick and a B.Sc. in Microbiology and Biotechnology from The University of Manchester.
