Michael Travis has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies in the biotechnology sector. Michael started their career as a Research Associate at Sugen in 1997 and then moved on to Tularik in 1998, where they held the same role until the year 2000. Travis then joined Tecan in 2001 as an Application Specialist and Field Service Engineer, where they focused on automation integrations, software design, and programming. After their time at Tecan, they worked at Labcyte as an Automation Engineer from 2004 to 2008. Michael then joined Microsonic Systems, Inc. as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing from 2008 to 2009, followed by a role as the Vice President of Application Development from 2009 to 2010. Finally, Travis returned to Labcyte Inc. in 2010, where they initially served as a Product Specialist for Acoustic Drop Ejection until 2017.
