Derek Clark

Derek Clark is a seasoned professional in the music and technology industries, currently serving as the Director of Product Management - Music Services at Beatport since May 2022, while also holding the position of Limited Partner at Side Door Ventures since September 2023. As Co-Founder and Co-CEO of LabelRadar Inc., Derek played a pivotal role in developing a platform for streamlining the demo submission process in the music industry, which was acquired by The Beatport Group in May 2022. Previously, Derek contributed as an Advisory Board Member for Let The Music Pay (d/b/a RCRDSHP), which focuses on digital collectibles in the electronic music sphere, and co-founded BookThinkers, a social platform promoting reading. Additional experience includes roles at Apptopia Inc. and MassChallenge, along with entrepreneurial endeavors in landscaping. Derek is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, after earning a Bachelor's degree in Music Business from Berklee College of Music.
