Michael Gersch has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael started their career at Milliken & Company in 1995 as a Market Planner and worked there until 1998. Michael then joined Advanced Radio Telecom as a Vice President of Finance and Strategic Planning from 1998 to 2000. In 2002, they moved to LexisNexis and held various leadership roles, including Senior Director of Business Management, Vice President of Strategy and Operations, Vice President and Managing Director of Case Assessment and Discovery Services, and Vice President and Managing Director of Litigation Solutions until 2010. In 2010, they joined Serials Solutions as Senior Vice President and General Manager. Michael then moved to ProQuest in 2011 where they served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of ProQuest Workflow Solutions until 2012, and later as the Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience until 2014. Finally, in 2015, they became the CEO of LabKey Software, a position they currently hold.

Michael Gersch's education history includes obtaining an MBA degree in Finance and Strategy from Emory University - Goizueta Business School from 1992 to 1995. In addition, they pursued another MBA degree in International Business and Organization from the University of Austria, Linz, during 1993 to 1994. Before that, they completed their BS degree in Management and Marketing from SUNY Geneseo between 1988 and 1992.
