Anke Edelmann

Anke Edelmann is currently the Leiterin Molekulardiagnostik at Labor Berlin - Charité Vivantes GmbH, where they lead the molecular diagnostics department encompassing microbiology, virology, hematology/oncology, laboratory medicine, and human genetics. Previously, Anke served as a wiss. Mitarbeiterin at Charite from 2007 to 2012, focusing on molecular diagnostics in clinical virology. They also held the role of Gruppenleiterin for molecular diagnostics at Analytik Jena AG from 2006 to 2007, where they contributed to the development and approval of medical products. Anke's academic background includes serving as a research group leader at Universität Leipzig from 2002 to 2006, specializing in molecular biochemistry and the training of medical students, and they are currently pursuing a Diplom in Biochemistry and a doctorate at the same institution.
