Theodore Schwarz

Theodore Schwarz is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in optical applications, thermal engineering, and mechanical design. Currently serving as an Optical Applications Engineer at Labsphere, Inc. since July 2025, Theodore previously worked at Genesis Engineering Solutions, Inc. as a Thermal Engineer, focusing on spacecraft hardware for NASA and commercial missions. Prior roles include Mechanical Engineering Research Assistant at the NSF Center for Space, High-Performance, and Resilient Computing, where responsibilities encompassed the design and testing of International Space Station payloads, and Visual Editor and Senior Staff Photographer at The Pitt News, managing a large team of creatives. Theodore's diverse experience is complemented by educational credentials from the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering.
