Clark Straw is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in both venture capital and biotechnology. As the Chairman of the Board and Co-founder of Labx Ventures since November 2018, Clark has contributed to the development of an innovative automated assessment tool for evaluating high-tech start-ups. In addition, Clark has served as General Partner for LBS SPF I, II & III, GP, LLC, focusing on investments in biotech. Previous roles include Chairman and CEO of Leading BioSciences, where Clark oversaw critical clinical trials, and Executive Vice President at Hitachi Data Systems, where leadership encompassed global sales and marketing. Clark's career began with Hewlett Packard, rising to General Manager in various capacities. Educational qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University and an MS in Management & Administrative Sciences from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas. Clark also holds a distinguished alumni award from Hillcrest High School.
