The LAC Center is an institutional platform co-founded by Dr. Lourdes Daza Aramayo and Anglo-American University (AAU) in Prague to strengthen connections between Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean through education, applied research, innovation, and strategic cooperation.

Established as a bridge between both regions, the LAC Center promotes interregional dialogue and develops initiatives that transform international collaboration into practical frameworks for academic mobility, policy development, executive education, institutional partnerships, and knowledge exchange.

As AAU’s platform for EU-LAC cooperation, the LAC Center brings together universities, students, embassies, companies, think tanks, researchers, and public institutions to foster long-term collaboration and sustainable regional engagement between Europe and the LAC region.

The Center focuses on key areas including artificial intelligence governance, digital cooperation, innovation ecosystems, women’s leadership, applied research, and the evolving relationship between the European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean.

Through its interdisciplinary and international approach, the LAC Center aims to build a dynamic ecosystem that strengthens educational, institutional, academic, and strategic ties across regions while promoting innovation, international cooperation, and global dialogue.
