David Ryu

David Ryu is a dedicated change maker and problem solver currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at AAPI LEAD and as a Commissioner for the California Coastal Commission. With a strong background in public service, they were previously a Councilmember for the City of Los Angeles and a Board Member for the Medical Board of California. David's extensive experience includes roles as Chief Strategy & Advancement Officer at Kedren Community Health Center and Principal at CADALYST INC, where they focus on driving growth and enhancing organizational impact. They are pursuing a Master's in Public Policy & Administration at Rutgers University - Camden and a Bachelor's degree in Economics at UCLA.
