Lama Thupstan Chogyal, the foundation was created to address the growing need for cardiac care and general healthcare in the region. Over the years, it has expanded its services to include preventive healthcare, medical camps, emergency aid, and community health programs.

With a strong commitment to improving public health, medical awareness, and access to treatment, Ladakh Heart Foundation has played a vital role in eradicating Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) from Ladakh and continues to support patients in need. The foundation also collaborates with national and international medical professionals to bring advanced healthcare solutions to this high-altitude region.
