Amir Tabakh

Amir Tabakh is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in energy efficiency and environmental engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Efficiency Solutions Engineering and overseeing LADWP La Kretz Labs since October 2008, Amir Tabakh manages daily activities focused on energy efficiency initiatives. Previously, from January 1986 to October 2008, Amir Tabakh held the role of Director of Environmental Engineering at the City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, where responsibilities included managing Mechanical Plan Check activities across various building types and overseeing the Mechanical Test LAB for new green product testing. Amir Tabakh earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Thermal Science and Energy and Turbo Machinery from San Diego State University, completing studies from 1978 to 1985.
